Four battles, four factions and three victories: that was the BR1 front today. Things started rough, though. Defending Al Har in Destruction as the Allies ended in defeat, even with 85 kills on the board. The Engineer still had his moment. He took out a Sd.Kfz.251/1 with an Explosion Pack and then finished off a Panzer III J with a TNT charge.
After that, the momentum swung. Germany pushed through on the offensive at Le Bre and came out on top with 93 kills, 32 assists and 70 zone points, plus a successful artillery strike. Up in the Bf 109 E-7/U2, the pilot dropped a 50 kg bomb on an M8 Scott and kept hitting enemy infantry with more bombs.
Japan's run at Heilongjang Airport was a tank hunt. The Saboteur, Assaulters and Engineer used Explosion Packs to take out two T-60s and two T-70s, four vehicles in all. With artillery and mortar fire backing them up, the win was never in doubt.
The best moment came last, with the Soviets on Left Bank. Assaulters and Partisans cracked several Panzer IIIs, and then one Partisan took over an enemy AA cannon and used it to shoot down an Hs 123 A-1. That match also brought in 34,898 EXP, the biggest haul of the day and a fitting way to finish.
