29th Armoured Brigade

USA Squad WIP Premium

Description

The division was formed in March 1941 in response to the unanticipated success of the German panzer divisions. It was prepared to join the 1st British Field Army, which was fighting fierce battles in Tunisia, and was supposed to begin the landing, but at the last moment the order was cancelled. The division continued training until July 1944, after which the division was sent to support the Allied landings in Normandy.
