Description
T-34-85 (D-5T) - modification of the Soviet medium tank T-34-85, developed in 1943. The key difference was the installation of an 85-mm D-5T gun in the turret instead of the ZiS-S-53, which took up a lot of space in the fighting compartment, which is why only two crew members could fit in the turret - there was not enough space for the loader. T-34-85 (D-5T) were produced by plant No. 112 "Krasnoye Sormovo" in 1943-1944, a total of about 300 units were manufactured.
