Real person
Named after / based on: Kurt Drössiger
The name matches Kurt Drössiger (also spelled Droessiger), a private first class (Gefreiter) and machine gunner in the 4th company of Infanterie-Regiment 415. He received the Knight's Cross on 10 February 1942, an unusual honour for such a low rank. His role matches the game's machine gunner class.
