Named after / based on: Theodor Beckmann
The name matches Theodor Beckmann, a Luftwaffe colonel who received the Knight's Cross on 23 December 1942 as commander of IV. Gruppe of Kampfgeschwader zur besonderen Verwendung 1, a wing flying Junkers Ju 52 transports. No further biography was found, so the match rests on name and faction.
