Battle Report #197

Four factions, four BR2 battles and a 3-1 record: October 6th had plenty to show. Germany opened the day on "Tractor Plant", where the Panzer III M, the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 and two assault squads running the MP40/1 and Erma MP 36 pushed the Destruction offensive to victory with 78 kills and 26 assists.

The real story came on "Heilongjang Airport". Japan put up the biggest numbers of the day with 95 kills, 4 vehicles destroyed and a massive 219,335 EXP, and still lost the Confrontation. That stings even more given the highlight reel: a Medic blew up a T-26 with an explosion pack, an Engineer took out a T-70 with a TNT charge, and an Anti-Tank Gunner knocked out a T-60 with the Type 4 70mm AT Rifle.

From there it was back to winning. The Allies took "Mountain Pass" with the LVT-4, a Bren MK II and the Winchester G30M, finishing with 54 kills. The Soviets wrapped things up on "Fortified District" with 84 kills, 3 vehicles and an impressive 42 assists. The T-28E's 76mm cannon dealt with a Panzer III J1, and an Engineer used an explosion pack on a Panzer IV E. A strong finish to a day where even the defeat had numbers worth bragging about.
