Bf 109 G-6

Description

Bf 109 G-6 - The most numerous variant of the Gustav was the Bf.109 G-6. The G-6 modification was developed in response to requests from front-line Luftwaffe pilots to increase the firepower of the Messerschmitt. The increased firepower was paid for by an increase in weight and deterioration in the aerodynamics of the aircraft.
