Battle Report #203

Four battles, four nations, one battle rating, and a day that delivered. Hepheisto went 3-1 at BR2 and racked up 239 kills along the way.

The opener was the only loss. Playing as the Soviets on "River Crossing" in Offensive, the team came up short despite 80 kills. It still produced the clip of the day, though: the IL-2 (1941) pilot took out a Panzer III B using nothing but the 20mm MG. Losing a tank to an aircraft's machine gun has to hurt.

The Allies then turned "Kahif cave village" into a tank graveyard. They won the Confrontation with 55 kills and 5 vehicles destroyed. An Assaulter blew up a Sd. Kfz. 234/2 with an Explosion Pack, and the Anti Tank Gunner took out a Panzer IV E with the M1 Bazooka, then finished a Panzer IV G with another Explosion Pack.

Germany kept the streak going on "Gogol Street West." With two Assaulter squads running the Erma MP 36 and MP40/1, the Assault push ended in victory with 38 kills and a huge 91,498 XP, the best of the day.

Japan wrapped things up with a win at "Heilongjang Airport": 66 kills, plus a BT-7 knocked out by the Type 4 70mm AT. A strong day at the front.
