Four battles, four factions, all at BR1, and three of them ended in victory. Things kicked off with Germany on Sword Beach, where a Confrontation win came with 51 kills. The standout play came from an Engineer who built an AT cannon and used the 50mm PaK to take out a Daimler Mk II. For good measure, an Engineer also blew up a flamethrower Stuart with an explosion pack.
Then came the match nobody will forget in a hurry. The Soviets dropped into a large Conquest on Heilongjang Airport and racked up a ridiculous 199 kills, 7 vehicles, 30 assists and 17,157 points... and still took the "Defeat". It stings even more when you see the anti-tank work. Two Ta-Se, a Ha-Go and two Ho-I all went up to explosion packs, one of them thrown "from a window".
Back on the same airport on the Japanese side, this time on defense, things went much better. Two successful artillery strikes and an Anti-Tank Gunner cracking a T-28E with an explosion pack helped seal the win with 140 kills. To close out the day, the Allies pushed through an offensive Invasion on Steel Mill South with Springfields and an Austen in hand. 97 kills and 43 zone points brought home victory number three. A strong day, with just one painful loss to swallow.
